Easy File Lock

Main Lock files In order to lock files you need to broswe to the folder in which the file exists through the folder browser. Select the files you want to lock. Type in the password in the the Password textbox and confirm the same in the Confirm Password textbox. Click on the Lock files Tool Button at the top in the Main tab. This will encrypt the files and make it invisible to others. Unlock files
Lock Folders
You would notice that the colo of the file list has turned Yellow. This is a special notification which indicates that the folder you are accessing is locked. As shown below: Unlock Folders To unlock a locked folder, simply broswe to the locked folder and click on "Unlock Folder" on the toolbar. Safe Vault It is a secured repository which keeps track of all the locked files and folder. It can also be used to quickly unlock all locked files and folders. Panic In case of emergency while you are accessing Easy File Lock and want to hide it and unload it from system memory clcik on Panic. It also has a keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + F10". Send Email You can send a locked file to a mail recipeint which enables you share a secured data between Friends, Business Partners, and others. This feature transmits sensitive documents through Public Network like the Internet. This will open you default Mail Client with the locked file attached. Kindly note only locked files can only be sent through this option.

To
unlock files you need to browse to the folder where you have the
locked file. The file you wish to lock have a Lock icon beside
its name. You can simply type in the password for the file and
click on Unlock file too unlock it. This will decrypt the file
and make it visible in Windows.
You
can even hide folders which will make it invisible even if somebody
tries to view it through Windows Explorer. It would only be visible
in Easy File Lock. In order to lock it browse to the folder and
click on Lock Folder. The program would ask for a confirmation
whether you really want to lock the folder. Click on "Yes"
and voila you have locked the folder. It is now invisible to others.
Also note: folders cannot be locked with a password only files
can be locked with a password.
